Letters From Home Published March 2, 2010 By Master Sgt. Brandon O'Neil 17th Force Support Squadron GOODFELLOW AFB, Texas -- West Texas Broadcasting has a program called 'Letters From Home', designed to keep family members in touch with loved ones who are deployed. The program offers families 60 to 90 seconds to send a personalized message. This can be done through a personal edited video, less than 8 megabytes, which should be emailed to jkerr@westtexasbroadcasting.com or through a video recorded in the WTB studios free of charge. Once the segments are recorded or received they will be edited for time and content and then placed on the KGKL-FM website, www.975kgkl.com. The segments will be available for public viewing for up to 30 days and will be available online to deployed servicemembers at any time. Local listeners are also encouraged to go to the 'Letters From Home' link on the website to view the video letters. Preference will be given to spouses and their children, but the program is open to everyone. Authorization for use of the image and message will be required from the participants.
