James Masoner 17th Security Forces Squadron GOODFELLOW AFB, Texas -- All personnel that routinely enter the base must register with the new Defense Biometric Identification System. To register, bring all valid government issued identification cards you will use for base entry to a registration station and answer a few questions. ID cards must have a bar code area; if not, a new ID card must be issued at the Airman and Family Readiness. Registration takes approximately 2-3 minutes per person. Registration can be completed at: - Visitor Control Center by the Jacobson Gate: Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. - 9 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. - Airman and Family Readiness: normal duty hours - Security Forces: Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Effective April 1, all personnel must be registered prior to entering the base.
