All personnel that routinely enter the base must register with the new Defense Biometric Identification System. Registration consists of bringing all valid government issued identification cards used for base entry to a registration station and answering a few easy questions. Registration takes approximately 2-3 minutes per person.

Goodfellow AFB is scheduled to start using the system in April. Registration began in December 2009 and is scheduled to continue until March. Permanent party and civilian employees have been scheduled through their unit POCs. Students began registering at in processing Jan. 4. Retirees, dependents and contractors will begin registering Feb. 15. The goal is to make registration convenient by scheduling registration in manageable allotments and in easily accessible locations. Please contact Tech. Sgt. Steven Mutka at 654-3523 with any questions.
