Martinez 17th Training Wing Public Affairs GOODFELLOW AFB, Texas -- Over 2,500 students and permanent party personnel left Goodfellow AFB for the holidays and returned last weekend. More than 500 students used the Holiday Exodus program offered by the 17th Force Support Squadron, to spend the holidays with family and friends -some for the first time since joining the military. Many used their own vehicles to travel to and from their destinations. Some travelled to the east or west coast, while others travelled a few hours to places like San Antonio to visit family and friends. Then there were a few who took long journeys that required a full-days' travel to warmer climates like Puerto Rico, Hawaii and Guam. No matter where or how far you travelled, welcome back!
