17th Training Wing Quarterly Awards winners Published Oct. 27, 2009 By Public Affairs 17th Training Wing GOODFELLOW AFB, Texas -- The third-quarter 17th Training Wing Quarterly Awards Ceremony for 2009 was held Monday at the Event Center. The event recognized service members of all branches and civilians at Goodfellow Air Force Base who have distinguished themselves through their personal and professional achievements. The national anthem was sung by Senior Airman Hazel Goodman, 17th Medical Group, an introduction of distinguished guests, a breakfast buffet and introduction of the award nominees. The winners in each category were presented with their awards by their respective service representatives. Col. Thomas Geary, 17th Training Wing commander, congratulated all nominees and winners, thanking them for their efforts. Winners not pictured are Theresa Ream, Civilian Category 1 of the Quarter; Tech. Sgt. Troy Adamo, Honor Guard of the Quarter; Airman 1st Class Jose Hernandez-Chapa, Airman of the Quarter and Staff Sgt. Michael Williams, Non-commissioned Officer of the Quarter.
