The 2009 Combined Federal Campaign kicked-off this year at Goodfellow on Sept. 9 with a 2.5 mile run and truck pull and concluded with several unit events on Oct. 16. Team Goodfellow raised over $210,500, exceeding previous year's campaign totals since 2001 (as far back as records go).

"Team Goodfellow set a new mark in total charitable contributions in this year's annual Combine Federal Campaign drive making it Goodfellow's most successful year to date. Contributions to CFC charities make a difference for people in our community and throughout the world. My thanks to our CFC coordinators, Capt. Michael Ingram, 17th Force Support Squadron and 1st Lt. Willard Schupbach, 17th Mission Support Group, and all the key workers for their time and dedication. CFC is a way for us to give back, and I'm so very proud of our entire force - Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and civilians - for giving so much and making CFC such a success." said Col. Tom Geary, 17th Training Wing commander.
