David Zemkosky 17th Medical Support Squadron commander GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The 17th Medical Group is experiencing technical problems with their telephone appointment line. A back-up system is currently being used that will result in longer than normal hold times. We have exhausted all avenues for repairing the system and are in the process of replacing it. However, the replacement system is not expected to be available for 3-6 months. For permanent party, retirees, and dependents, an alternate method for scheduling appointments is the TRICARE online website at www.tricareonline.com, or by calling directly at 654-3149. Students should continue to use the Student Clinic sick call hours (6:30-8:30 a.m. and 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.) and follow-up appointments will be arranged after your initial visit. Customers needing prescription refills can call 654-3102 to access the automated refill line directly. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
