More than 30,000 spectators were in attendance for this year’s Town & Country Stars & Stripes July 3rd Pops Concert. The event was dedicated to the symphony’s former conductor and the concert’s founder, Gene Smith. The concert has been and continues to be a tradition for the San Angelo community. Every year people from around the community and surrounding areas show up to celebrate our country’s independence at the third largest celebration of its kind in the state of Texas.
