Bush takes command, Audie Murphy honorees inducted Published June 20, 2008 By Senior Airman Kamaile Chan 17th Training Wing Public Affairs GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Change of Command Lieutenant Colonel Bichson Bush assumed command of the 344th Military Intelligence Battalion Wednesday at Fort Concho. Colonel Bush has served in a variety of assignments in Korea, Middle East, and the United States. Her previous assignment was Deputy Intelligence Director at the U.S. Army Executive Communications and Control Office. Change of Responsibility The 344 MIBn welcomed new Command Sergeant Major Dan McGraw to Goodfellow Air Force Base Tuesday at the base theater in front of more than 300 Soldiers. Command Sergeant Major McGraw was recently deployed to Iraq and will be responsible for the well-being of more than 500 students and permanent party members. Sergeant Audie Murphy Club Sergeants 1st Class Krysta Kovach and Robert Ventura and Staff Sgt. Craig Flores were recently inducted into the Sgt. Audie Murphy Club Tuesday in front of more than 300 Soldiers. Sergeant Audie Murphy, a squad leader who consistently demonstrated the highest qualities of leadership, professionalism and regard for the welfare of his Soldiers, is considered the greatest combat Soldier in the 233-year history of the United States Army. The NCOs selected have all demonstrated the ability to meet the challenges of leadership and caring for Soldiers.
