GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The 313th Training Squadron conducted a change of command ceremony at the Powell Event Center, June 18.
The 313th TRS welcomed the incoming commander, Lt. Col. Christopher M. Cardinale, and thanked the outgoing commander, Lt. Col. Garrett Williams, for his hard work and dedication.
“I am beyond grateful and humbled to have built relationships and shared time with you all over the past two years,” said Williams. “Today and for all my tomorrows, you'll have a place in my heart as fellow brothers and sisters in arms, supporters and defenders of the Constitution.”
Before joining the 313th TRS, Cardinale was a strategy mission manager for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
“My job is to serve you,” said Cardinale. “We believe with clarity, remove obstacles, create the conditions where you can thrive, both professionally and personally. My door will always be open, my expectations will be clear, and my commitment to this team will be absolute. I'm excited to get to work, and I'm even more excited to serve alongside you.”
The 313th TRS provides world-class mission qualification and advanced intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance training to develop and inspire professionals for the Department of Defense and our international partners.
