The 17th Training Wing celebrated 28 service members who graduated with associate degrees from the Community College of the Air Force, July 31.

The CCAF is the only federally chartered academic institution dedicated to serving the educational needs of the Air Force's enlisted force.

The graduates represented the 17th Training Wing’s joint-service environment, where Airmen, Soldiers and other service members train together to develop the capabilities needed to support military operations.

Each year, CCAF awards approximately 22,000 Associate of Applied Science degrees across 69 degree programs.

Its mission, through flexible degree completion programs that build on military training and education, is to prepare service members to meet operational demands while advancing their academic and professional development.
