Article 15 and discharge actions for November 2014 Published Dec. 5, 2014 17th Training Wing Legal Office GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- A 17th Medical Operations Squadron senior airman received nonjudicial punishment action for dereliction of duty for using his government travel card for unauthorized purchases on divers occasions. Punishment consisted of reduction to the grade of airman first class, suspended forfeiture of $228.18 pay per month for two months and a reprimand. A 314th Training Squadron airman first class received nonjudicial punishment action for dereliction of duty for smoking tobacco during the duty day, smoking in a non-designated smoking area and for making a false official statement. Punishment consisted of suspended reduction to the grade of airman, forfeiture of $858.00 pay and a reprimand. A 316th Training Squadron technical sergeant received nonjudicial punishment action for drunk driving and drunk and disorderly conduct. Punishment consisted of reduction to the grade of staff sergeant and a reprimand. A 316th TRS airman first class received nonjudicial punishment action for failing to go to morning formation. Punishment consisted of suspended reduction to the grade of airman and a reprimand. A 316th TRS airman basic received nonjudicial punishment action for dereliction of duty by failing to submit an AETC Form 29B, Pre-departure Safety Briefing. Punishment consisted of suspended forfeiture of $500.00 pay, 20 days restriction and a reprimand. The Air Force discharged twelve Goodfellow Airmen in November 2014: one 312th Training Squadron Airman for conditions that interfere with military service; two 311th Training Squadron Airmen, three 315th Training Squadron Airmen, and one 316th TRS Airman for unsatisfactory performance; one 17th Security Forces Squadron Airman and one 314th TRS Airman for minor disciplinary infractions; one 17th SFS Airman and one 314th TRS Airman for a pattern of misconduct; and one 316th TRS Airman for the commission of a serious offense.
