Help a New Kid Succeed Published Nov. 14, 2014 By Staff Sgt. Austin Knox 17th Training Wing Public Affairs SAN ANGELO, Texas -- Toni L. Hansen, 17th Force Support Squadron Director, Debra L. Scougall, 17th FSS Airman and Family Readiness Center school liaison officer, and Dr. Carol A. Bonds, San Angelo Independent School District superintendent, signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the SAISD Administration Building Nov. 13. The MOU is for a partnership between the A&FRC and SAISD on the creation and management of a student sponsorship program called Help a New Kid Succeed. A selection of first- through eighth-graders at Glenmore Elementary School and Glen Middle School will train as sponsors for incoming new students.
