Taylor Chapel hosts tree lighting ceremony Published Nov. 7, 2014 By Airman 1st Class Devin Boyer 17th Training Wing Public Affairs GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The Taylor Chapel invites all base personnel and their families to a tree lighting ceremony at the evergreen on Valiant Street and Fort Griffin Avenue 6 p.m. Dec. 2. Col. Kimberlee P. Joos, 17th Training Wing Commander, and a few helpers will light the tree and the community will welcome the holiday season with the singing of traditional carols. After the ceremony, the chapel will host a holiday fellowship in the Fellowship Hall serving cookies, snacks and hot chocolate.
