Team Goodfellow members met for the annual Combined Federal Campaign kickoff party to celebrate more than 24,000 selected charities at the Event Center Sept. 2.

The CFC is one of the two major donation programs the Air Force supports each year, and focuses on raising money for local, national and international charities.

"This is the largest annual push for charitable purposes," said Capt. John P. Biszko, 315th Training Squadron Flight Commander. "There are a lot of things you can do to make a difference, but there are very few things that can affect 24,000 charities."

During the event, Col. Terry J. "TJ" Hamrick Jr., 17th Training Wing Vice Commander, provided his hopes for the campaign.

"I think we set a very obtainable goal of $125,000 for this year," said Hamrick. "I think everyone has been around the program enough to know that there is something of interest for everybody. Let's kick off the CFC with a bang and reach our wing goal."

Throughout September, unit representatives will contact individuals for the chance to donate.
