Traveling OCONUS? Published Aug. 6, 2014 By Airman 1st Class Breonna Veal 17th Training Wing Public Affairs GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- All active-duty service members assigned to Air Education and Training Command installations traveling on non-official travel and civilian employees, contractors, military personnel ,and family members ages 14 years and older traveling on official travel outside continental U.S., are required to complete Area of Responsibility-specific training before leaving. Members will complete all the requirements listed in the Defense Department Foreign Clearance guide at https://www.fcg.pentagon.mil/ initiated at least 60 days prior to travel. AETC members must also visit the Department of State Travel Website for additional travel and health force protection information, warnings and restrictions at http://travel.state.gov. Contact the Unit Anti-Terrorism officer or representative for assistance. Once the AT Travel Plan is complete and appropriate level commander approved, provide a copy to Randal Hunt, ATO, via email 17trw.fp@us.af.mil.
