The Defense Department ended their sponsorship of the Automated Housing Referral Network Dec. 31 in preparation for the new housing program.

The 17th Civil Engineer Squadron Housing Management Office will provide base newcomers with resources to locate rentals and sales listings.

"All rentals and houses listed for sale will come from the HMO until this fall when the new program is revealed," said Rebel Long, 17th CES Housing Referral specialist. "Service members will have access to this program 24/7."

Members and their families can continue to find housing through Air Force military housing offices, or the Air Force Housing public website at www.housing.af.mil.

"Rental sales and listings are located at the Goodfellow 17th CES HMO until the new program is up and running," said Long.

Members and their families should contact the military housing office at 325-654-3498, or visit the military housing office to receive assistance in locating suitable housing.

According the AHRN website, AHRN users will still have access to the website, which allows them to search for available off-base community rentals, on-base or privatized housing, temporary lodging and more.
