Goodfellow's 2013 Annual Awards Banquet honoring the outstanding Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, Airmen and civilians is scheduled to take place 6 p.m. Feb. 7 at the McNease Convention Center.

"Our award nominees and winners have made significant contributions to their units, the base and the San Angelo community," said Master Sgt. Lisa A. Payne, 315th Training Squadron Intelligence Fundamentals course chief. "As a community at large, they couldn't have done this without the support of their families, friends and coworkers. The awards committee would like to encourage everyone to come and support the nominees and winners for their hard work."

To provide spouses the opportunity to participate in the recognition event, several childcare options are available through the Child Development Center and School Age Program.

For the month of February, the CDC and SAP moved Give Parents a Break program to coincide with the annual awards event. Parents who want to take part in this program need to reserve a space for their child(ren) by 5:30 p.m. Feb. 5 at Bldg. 906 or 927. Children who aren't enrolled in either program are required to fill out a registration packet and provide shot records at the time of the reservation. The service is provided for a minimal fee, and a meal will be provided.

Mess dress is required for officers; semi-formal or mess dress is required for enlisted members, and formal attire is required for civilians. The social hour begins at 6 p.m., and chimes ring at 6:45 p.m.

Tickets include a buffet dinner with hickory smoked top sirloin, smoked herb and butter seasoned chicken, three cheese and bacon twice baked potato, steamed mixed vegetable Normandy with browned butter, mixed leafy green salad and assorted gourmet desserts.

Individuals can purchase tickets by contacting their unit point of contact or first sergeant. Ticket prices vary based on rank. For prices or more information on childcare services, call the CDC at 325-654-3239 or the SAP at 325-654-1751.
