AF Security Forces Museum recognizes A1C Jacobson Published Dec. 12, 2013 17th Training Wing Public Affairs GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The Air Force Security Forces Museum is honoring Airman 1st Class Elizabeth Jacobson, former Team Goodfellow member, by adding her M-4 rifle as a permanent display at the museum. The museum is displaying the rifle she carried in combat when she was killed in 2005 as an undying piece of history in the 21st Century exhibit gallery. Airman 1st Class Jacobson was the first female Air Force Security Forces member to die supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom, and the security forces first member to die in combat operations since 1975. Team Goodfellow named the installation's main gate in honor of Jacobson and the city of San Angelo painted her likeness in a downtown mural.
