Gate Send-off reminds Team Goodfellow to be safe over Thanksgiving holiday Published Nov. 22, 2013 By 17th Training Wing Public Affairs GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- With Thanksgiving Day approaching and a four day weekend to go along with it, 17th Training Wing leadership and wing safety want to remind Team Goodfellow to be safe during the holiday. In line with their goal, wing leadership plane to plane to make face to face contact with Team Goodfellow members with a Thanksgiving Gate send-off. Commanders, First Sergeants, Chiefs and the Green Knights Chapter 64 Motorcycle Group, will man the North and Jacobson Gates from 2:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Nov. 27 to pass out 17th TRW Wingman Cards and to remind members to keep their focus on safety and risk management during the holiday. Members will receive wingman cards that contain important numbers for organizations such as Airman Against Drunk Driving, local cab services, 17th Security Forces Squadron, Sexual Assault Response Coordinator hotline and more as they leave the base.
