Members from the Goodfellow Firsts Sergeants' Council set up a Christmas tree for Project Angel Tree in the Base Exchange here Nov. 4.

Project Angel Tree is just one more way the Goodfellow First Sergeants' Council, along with the Base Exchange, is helping those in need this holiday season.

The goal of Project Angel Tree is to raise money for Exchange gift cards for children in need during the holidays. The gift cards are given to the children, who are then able to use them at the Base Exchange to purchase anything of their choosing.

Anyone wishing to donate to the fundraiser can simply visit the Base Exchange. In the entrance of the store is the Project Angel Tree; on the tree are different colored ornaments with each color representing a different donation amount. Customers are then able to take the ornament of their choice to the register and purchase it, with all proceeds going to Project Angel Tree.
