Crossroads hosts activities for Labor Day weekend Published Aug. 29, 2013 By 17th Training Wing Public Affairs GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The Crossroads Student Center is hosting several different activities for Goodfellow students Aug. 30 to Sept. 1. Aug. 30, the Crossroad "Friday Night at Crossroads" is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m., kicking-off with a burger burn, followed by a movie showing at 8:00 p.m. and a dancing video game tournament starting at 8:30 p.m. Aug. 31, the 3-on-3 free basketball tournament is slated to start at the overhang by the Predator at 10:00 a.m. After the tournament, the Crossroads will host a cookout. Sept. 1, a brunch is scheduled to occur at the Crossroads at 10:00 a.m. to end the festivities for the Labor Day weekend. The Crossroads is a place for student Airmen, Soldiers, Marines and Sailors to get away from the training environment and the events are for non-prior students only.
