GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Airmen seeking to reflect receiving their Community College of the Air Force degrees when qualifying within the 2014 cycle must ensure they receive it prior to promotion eligibility cutoff date of Sept.30.

Airmen must also ensure that any awarded degrees appear on their current Enlisted Data Verification Record in order for them to reflect in the next promotion cycle.

The CCAF award date is the date the Administrative Center receives the student's completed Air Force Form 968, which nominates the student for graduation in a specific CCAF program. The form is submitted by Education Services counselors or advisors. All degree requirements must be completed and recorded in the student's CCAF record prior to nomination. Students must satisfy all CCAF degree requirements, up to and including graduation nomination, before their student record is updated which will in turn update their Military Personnel Data System record.
