Goodfellow pool closures and updates Published Aug. 14, 2013 17th Training Wing Public Affairs GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The Goodfellow pool season is entering its final weeks. The China Beach pool closed Aug. 9, and the Goodfellow Recreation Camp and McGarr pools will remain open as long as support personnel are available. The Rec Camp pool is scheduled to close Aug. 16 through 18, and reopen Aug. 19, while the McGarr pool is now only open on weekends.
