The 17th Training Wing leadership and the Wing Safety Office want to remind Team Goodfellow to be safe during the Independence Day four-day weekend.

In line with their goal to make sure every service member returns to work after the weekend, wing leadership plans to make face-to-face contact with service members, civilians and dependents during the Fourth of July gate send-off.

Commanders, chief master sergeants, superintendents, first sergeants and representatives of the Green Knights Chapter 64 will man the north and Jacobson Gates from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. July 3 to pass out 17th TRW wingman cards and fatigue management booklets. The cards are to remind members to keep their focus on safety and risk management over the holiday weekend.

Members will receive wingman cards containing important numbers for organizations such as Airman Against Drunk Driving, local cab services, 17th Security Forces Squadron, Sexual Assault Response Coordinator hotline and more as the drivers leave base. These numbers can also be found on the Goodfellow website.
