Wing honors memory of SFS Airman Published July 17, 2015 By Senior Airman Joshua Edwards 17th Training Wing Public Affairs GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The 17th Security Forces Squadron honored Tech. Sgt. Christopher Kelley, 17th Security Forces Squadron individual mobilization augmentee, during a memorial service in the Taylor Chapel July 16. Kelley, an Air Force Reservist IMA for the 17th SFS since 2007, lost his life in the line of duty as a Hutto, Texas police officer on June 24. “He exemplified the Air Force Core Values of integrity, service and excellence in everything that he did,” said Maj. Pedro Jimenez, 17th SFS Commander. “In his eight years, Sergeant Kelley showed again and again that he was prepared to pay the ultimate price to defend our core values and our way of life.” Kelley was laid to rest on June 30 at the Central Texas Veterans Cemetery, Killeen, Texas.
