GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --

San Angelo hosted a Take a Veteran to School event for Veterans Day at the San Angelo Stadium, Nov. 11.

The event honored veterans and active duty military members. It also held guest speakers and a Goodfellow Air Force Base K-9 unit demonstration.

“We have freedoms and privileges because our veterans and the sacrifice that they have made,” said Dwain Morrison, San Angelo mayor.
