GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Ellie Kay, Family Financial Expert, and the Heroes at Home program are providing a free financial event at the base theater 9 to 11 a.m., March 9.
The event focuses on how individuals and families can pay off debt, build savings and work toward their future.
“The Heroes at Home Financial Event is a fully sponsored program for United States Air Force families that provides audiences with an event that is entertaining, engaging and educational,” said Jane L. Mickenheim, 17th Force Support Squadron Airman and Family Readiness Center chief. “They are inspired to think about their financial dreams and taught how to make those dreams come true.”
Goodfellow is one of ten bases to have Kay provide a financial brief.
“Ellie Kay and her team have been on numerous media interviews including Fox News, ABC News, The Today Show and Nightline,” said Mickenheim. “She gives practical encouragement in the journey and encourages audiences to consider the two legacies they will leave; a financial legacy and a military legacy.”
