The 315th Training Squadron opened a study lounge to give instructors a place to work on professional development March 14.

The lounge coincides with the Profession of Arms Center of Excellence program. PACE is committed to developing Air Force personnel with the mindset, character and core values required to succeed today and well into the future.

“It gives instructors the space in an environment that is free from students and distractions,” said Maj. Jason E. Kulchar, 315th TRS commander.

All instructors in the Di Tommaso building will have access to the room.

“This gives instructors an area that is exclusive to them,” said Master Sgt. Frederick E. Childs, 315th TRS first sergeant. “It is a way for instructors to recharge and get away from stress.”

The center is equipped with computers, couches, tables and books.

“The civil engineering squadron are the ones who inspired us with this,” said Kulchar. “At the end of the day we owe them a huge thanks.”
