TFDC teaches customer service Published Aug. 29, 2016 By Airman 1st Class Randall Moose 17th Training Wing Public Affairs GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The Goodfellow Total Force Development Council provided customer service classes throughout the month of August. The classes covered how to deal with difficult customers, telephone etiquette, bad customer service and creating positive environments. “Bad customer service can bring great discredit upon our organization,” said Mike Gainey, 17th Civil Engineer Squadron maintenance mechanic. “A lot of our mission depends on being good customer service stewards, and striving to work together to complete that mission.” The teachers encouraged the class to share their encouters with upset customers. “We pull from all their experiences,” said Allen Shon, 17th CES environmental element. “We find that a class of 50 people have more experience than one instructor.” The Total Force Development Council plans to hold classes throughout the year.
