2nd Lt. Michael Bremer, 315th Training Squadron student, is the Goodfellow Student of the Month Spotlight for May, a series highlighting exceptional Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors and Marines.

17th Training Wing Public Affairs: What led you to join the military?

Bremer: It’s something I’ve always wanted to do. I think it’s something I decided when I was four.

What has been the most impactful moment in your career so far?

[Officer Training School] graduation was a good day. Also the course here, getting educated is nice, but the most impactful would be the people I came into contact with in my class. They have been great.

What are your hobbies?

My primary ones are that I play music that is actually what my degree is in. I do a lot of weight lifting, Krav Maga and boxing. I’ve recently took up flying. I also like cooking and sports.

What do you want to accomplish during your time here at Goodfellow Air Force Base?

Well I’ve only got 10 days left. I wanted to get through the course, and I got through it. I also wanted to get student of the month and did, which I think is a pretty nice accomplishment.

Is there any advice or anything extra you would like to share?

As far as Goodfellow goes, just get out there. Go hang out with people and have a good time. Focus on getting through the course.
