GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --
On the overcast evening of May 17, 32 teams from Goodfellow Air Force Base volunteered and joined 91 other local teams at Foster Field to raise funds for cancer research during the Tom Green County Relay for Life. 12 hours later, Goodfellow's teams had completed 4,140 laps to raise $25,276.14.
The top fund-raising team from the base was the Sailors in Motion #1 team, with the Pink Panthers from the 312th Training Squadron close behind. Additionally, the 344th Military Intelligence Battalion's A Company posted the highest number of laps, running a total of 500 between them (a cumulative distance of 125 miles).
