U.S. Marine Corps Pfc. Hunter LoRusso, 312th Training Squadron student, is the Goodfellow Student of the Month Spotlight for April, a series highlighting exceptional Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors and Marines.

17th Training Wing Public Affairs: What led you to join the military?

LoRusso: A lot of my family are in the Marines. Also, all the benefits later on in life.

What has been the most impactful moment in your career so far?

Getting the crash fire rescue career field after coming in with no guaranteed career field.

What are your hobbies?

Hunting, fishing and spending time with the family.

What do you want to accomplish during your time here at Goodfellow Air Force Base?

Earn honor graduate and maintain the highest GPA I can.

Is there any advice or anything extra you would like to share?

Try not to get complacent while you wait for class to start. Focus on your job as a student.
