2nd Lt. Rebecca Stinton, 315th Training Squadron student, is the Goodfellow Student of the Month Spotlight for March, a series highlighting exceptional Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors and Marines.

17th Training Wing Public Affairs: What led you to join the Air Force?
Stinton: All throughout high school I always felt like I wanted to do something in the military but I wasn’t sure what. When I went to college I saw an Air Force ROTC booth and that’s how it all started.

What’s been the most impactful moment in your career so far?
Just getting here. This is the first place I’ve been in the real Air Force and just being able to interact with other officers that have done the job.

What is your life like off duty?
Pretty boring honestly. My husband and I like to hang out, eat and explore San Angelo.

What do you want to accomplish during your time here at Goodfellow Air Force Base?
I want to get a better understanding of how the intel field works and get as much experience as I can before I’m thrown out into the real world.
