Master Sgt. Brandon Holliman, 17th Training Wing Equal Opportunity NCO in charge, is the 17th TRW spotlight for July, a series highlighting the accomplishments of wing personnel.

17th Training Wing Public Affairs: How does it feel to be nominated for the spotlight?

Holliman: It feels good to be acknowledged for what you do on and off base.

Why were you nominated for the spotlight?

I have been volunteering for Glenmoor Elementary School and the community. I also coach softball and basketball teams.

What else do you want to accomplish during your time here at Goodfellow?

I take everything day by day. I just want to wake up the next day and try to be better than I was the day before. I really want to promote a positive change in the Airmen and others on base.

Is there any advice or anything extra you would like to share?

Lead from the front. Be an example that people can respect and be willing to follow. At the same time, you have to be a willing follower. Because every good leader is a great follower.
