GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Senior Airman Nancy Foster, 17th Security Forces Squadron, imitates driving and talking on a cell phone without the proper use of hands free technology, March 14. According to AFI 36-2903 Dress and Personal Appearance of Air Force Personnel paragraph 6.3.3.1., use of a hands-free device is authorized while in uniform when operating a motor vehicle if local policy permits.
