Firefighters increase awareness during Fire Prevention Week
GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – Children line up to enter a fire safety house outside the School Age Program Center here Oct. 11. Members from Goodfellow’s Fire Department visited the center as part of the 89th National Fire Prevention Week. The children learned about fire safety using the fire safety house, visited with Sparky the firedog, explored a fire truck and became familiar with firefighters during the visit.
