Monterey linguist awarded instructor of the year
GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Tech. Sgt. Matthew Cavalieri, a Persian-Farsi Military Linguist Instructor at the Presidio of Monterey, Calif., was selected as the 2010 Kiwanis Military Instructor of the Year by the Kiwani's Club International Monterey Chapter. One Defense Language Institute instructor is recognized annually for outstanding work in foreign language instruction, teaching ability and community service.
