We did it: 100 days without a DUI!
“Good morning!” says Chief Master Sgt. Leslie Best (far right), the 17th Mission Support Group superintendent, as he prepares to hand an informational card for Airmen Against Drunk Driving to one of Team Goodfellow’s members while Brenda Motl, a security officer, checks his identification at the Jacobson Gate Wednesday. Chief Best and other chief master sergeants and commanders from Goodfellow greeted drivers at the gates Wednesday to observe 100 days without any member of Team Goodfellow driving under the influence of alcohol. Chief Master Sgt. Michael Murphy, the 17th Security Forces Squadron superintendent, credits the enforcement of traffic regulations and procedures with a direct contribution to the decrease in people operating vehicles while under the influence of alcohol or impaired. “We will continue to take every action necessary to ensure the safety and well being of our visitors and the men and women who serve on Goodfellow,” Chief Murphy added.
