Polarized
Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Dobbs, 316th Training Squadron commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Bob Benitez, 316 TRS superintendent, pose with squadron members following the Polar Bear Swim at Lake Nasworthy on Jan. 31. The 316 TRS maintained its tight grip on the Polar Bear trophy, winning the award for having the largest number of squadron members take the icy plunge into near-freezing waters. The 316 TRS has won the Polar Bear trophy three years in a row and six times in seven years. The front page caption from last week's Monitor mistakenly stated that the 315th Training Squadron won this year's trophy.
