Goodfellow Holiday Exodus 2008
Col. Richard Ayres, 17th Training Wing commander, is interviewed by Sun Cha of the Standard Time Newspaper on Dec. 19, during the Goodfellow 2008 Holiday Exodus. Military members eagerly await their respective buses Friday evening in front of the Carswell Field House. More than 900 of the student servicemembers from Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas, were scheduled to begin their journeys home via bus travel to surrounding-area airports as part of the base’s Holiday Exodus program. The Holiday Exodus program allows Goodfellow students to enjoy a two-week break from technical training during the winter holiday season. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Luis Loza Gutierrez)
