ASU honors veterans

SAN ANGELO, Texas -- An Angelo State University ROTC cadet lights a candle during the candlelight vigil portion of the Veterans’ Vigil at the ASU Oak Grove Memorial Nov. 13. ASU cadets read short biographies, letters written to or by family members or poems written in memory of the ASU alumni veterans every ten minutes followed by the placing of a rose on the memorial plaque and a lighting of a candle until midnight.
