SAN ANGELO, Texas – Col. Mark Mattison, Air Force ROTC Southwest Region Commander, presents Air Force ROTC Detachment 847 with the 2013 High Flight award as the best medium-size detachment in the Southwest Region at Angelo State University Sept. 18. The award recognizes the best Air Force ROTC detachment within a geographic region of the U.S. based on its education program, cadet activities, university and public interactions, community service projects and cadet accomplishments.
