The 17th Annual Polar Bear Plunge
U.S. Air Force Col. Alex Ganster, 17th Training Group commander, and U.S. Army Lt. Col. Yukio Kuniyuki, 344th Military Intelligence Battalion commanding officer, take the first jump into Lake Nasworthy to start the swim portion of the Polar Bear Plunge in San Angelo, Texas, Feb. 24, 2018. Despite it being 72 degrees out, many participants said that the water was chilly. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Seraiah Hines/Released)
