  • History of Goodfellow's 1941 Ford Pumper

On exhibit at Goodfellow since restoration in 2009, this 1941 "Pumper" was part of the military inventory at Fort Wayne International Airport and was left behind in 1946.

When the military troops departed the base, the vehicle remained an active firefighting asset until 1982. The vehicle is now part of the historic firefighting vehicles on display at Goodfellow Air Force Base.
