  • History of Goodfellow's 1951 Magirus

    This truck served the base fire department at Bitburg AB, Germany for nearly 50 years. Its 72-foot ladder once made possible the rescue of 80 children from the fourth floor of a burning school.

    On exhibit at Goodfellow since restoration in 2004, the vehicle is part of the historic firefighting vehicles on display at Goodfellow Air Force Base.
