  • Oshkosh P-15 Truck Basics

    The mammoth P-15 firefighting truck was designed to combat aircraft fires in all weather. Carrying 6,100 gallons of water and 515 gallons of foam, it could douse a fire from a distance of 300 feet.

    The P-15 on display last served at Lackland AFB, Texas in 2004. On exhibit at Goodfellow since restoration in 2004, the vehicle is part of the historic firefighting vehicles on display at Goodfellow Air Force Base.
