Organization: The 311th Training Squadron is part of the 517th Training Group.
The 311th Training Squadron, located at the Presidio of Monterey, Calif., conducts training in basic language skills and advanced foreign languages at the Defense Language Institute prior to students arriving at Goodfellow for follow-on cryptologic linguist training.
