MIG-29 receives a new home

GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- 17th Civil Engineer, Tommy Kirk, 17th Civil Engineering Squadron, directs movement of a MiG-29 Fulcrum A configuration trainer on Goodfellow Air Force Base, May 17. Goodfellow engineers and trainer maintainers moved the aircraft to accommodate construction of a new intelligence training facility for the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF).

Goodfellow personnel are currently working with Air Education and Training Command's Air Force Security Assistance Training Squadron (AFSAT) to plan and construct the facility. Courseware development is expected to take place over the next year in preparation for an increasing number of RSAF students in the summer of 2014.
