Marine Pfc. Donald Wolcott, a tech school student, shovels snow from the sidewalk leading to the Marine Corps Detachment Wednesday. Goodfellow experienced its first snow fall of the year Tuesday. Base personnel were released early from duty Tuesday afternoon and were ordered to report to work by no later than 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Personnel were once again released from duty by 2 p.m. Wednesday. The early releases were done as a preventative measure by the senior leadership because of the hazardous driving conditions caused by the snow storm and cold weather conditions of the week. Several areas of Goodfellow received two to three inches of snow. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Luis Loza Gutierrez)
